COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 1, 2016) - St. Petersburg College's Kokoro Chishaki was named NCJAA Division I Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Friday.
Chishaki, a freshman from Kashiwa, Japan, posted a 2-0 singles record in flight three during the voting period.
She led the Titans to wins over Eastern Florida State and Broward last week.
Against Eastern Florida State, she defeated Annaleigh Collins, 6-3 and 6-0.
Against Broward, she knocked out Kiah Turner, winning 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (7).
