COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 27, 2016) - A week after Daytona State College's men's soccer team made history, the women's team followed suit on Tuesday.

When the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Poll was released on Tuesday, the Falcons themselves with a national ranking for the first time ever. 

Daytona State entered the poll at No. 19 after receiving votes in last week's rankings. 

Still sitting atop the rankings is Eastern Florida State College.

The two schools will meet for the first time on October 6.
