Daytona State, Seminole State, Eastern Florida State off to golf nationals

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 5, 2015) - Region 8's three golf programs are ready for national tournament competition and each one is expected to be in the mix for a national championship.

On the women's side, Daytona State College and Seminole State College are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the country, respectively. The Falcons are looking to repeat as national champions. 

Both squads are heading to the desert southwest for the 2015 NJCAA Women's Golf Championship, which takes place May 10-15 at Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, Ariz. 

Meanwhile, Eastern Florida State's men's golf team won its second NJCAA District 4 championship in three seasons on April 28. 

The Titans will now advance to the NJCAA Division I Men's Championship in Newton, Kan., May 10-15.
