CHARLOTTE, N.C. (November 30, 2022) - Santa Fe College's Malea Brown was named the NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Brown, a sophomore guard from Putnam Hall, Fla., led Santa Fe to a win over Region 8 rival Hillsborough Community College in its only game last week.
In the victory, Brown knocked down four triples en route to posting 28 points and also had seven rebounds, five assists and five steals.
She was named Region 8 Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
