TRINITY, FL – Just six games into the 2018-19 season, ASA Miami's women's basketball team has already had its most successful season in program history.

Having already snapped a 49-game losing streak and won the program's first women's basketball game with a season-opening win over IMG Academy, the Lady Silver Storm doubled down on their success this season by having all eight players record points in their 59-51 win over Trinity College of Florida this past Saturday (Nov. 17) night.

Sophomore guard Ta'Kyla Austin led the charge for ASA Miami (2-4), finishing with 14 points (3-for-5 from three-point range). While Austin was the only Silver Storm player to finish in double figures, all the other ASA players scored at least four points. Mackenzie Sadaka finished with nine, G'Torria Swinton had eight, and point guard Lashayla Johnson totaled seven points, three steals, and three assists.

Up Next: The Silver Storm get to enjoy a two-week hiatus. Following the Thanksgiving holiday break, ASA Miami will be back in action on Nov. 29 with a trip Fort Myers, Florida to play in the Florida JuCo Shootout.
