COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 14, 2016) - The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced the Spalding Women's Basketball Player and Coach of the Year awards on Wednesday and national champion Gulf Coast State College brought home both honors.

Sophomore forward Kristina King was named Spalding NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Year while her head coach, Ronnie Scovel, was named Spalding Division I Women's Basketball Coach of the Year.
