TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 3, 2023) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) is pleased to announce its 2023 Division I All-FCSAA/All-NJCAA Region 8 softball teams.
Division I's 17-member All-FCSAA first- and second-team, as well as the FCSAA Division I Player and Pitcher of the Year, were voted on by members of the FCSAA Division I Softball Committee.

Georgia Hood, Pensacola State

Named FCSAA Player of the Year for a second straight season...also a repeat recipient of Panhandle Conference Player of the Year honors...appeared in 45 games...only player in Region 8 to rank in the top five in the triple crown categories - she is third with a .471 batting average, fifth in RBI (60) and second in home runs (16)...named FCSAA/Region 8 Player of the Week on March 21.
