TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 4, 2022) - The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) and NJCAA South Atlantic District Softball Tournament will take place May 6-9 at Boombah Soldiers Creek in Longwood, Fla., and is hosted by Orlando North/Seminole County Sports and Seminole State College of Florida.
The eight-team, double-elimination tournament features two teams from each of the FCSAA's four conferences. The winner of Sunday's winner's bracket final will be crowned FCSAA Champion, as well as NJCAA South Atlantic District A Champion, and clinch the first of two bids from Region 8 to the NJCAA Division I Softball Championships.
Meanwhile, the loser of the winner's bracket final will face the team who emerges from the loser's bracket in the final game of the tournament, scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, for the NJCAA South Atlantic District B Championship. The winner will clinch Region 8's second bid to the natoinal tournament.
All games will be streamed on the FCSAA Digital Network. Tournament updates will be posted to the Softball Championships page and shared via Twitter and Facebook.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate. Single-day passes are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. Tournament passes are $20 for adults and $10 for students and children. Children under the age of five are free with a paid adult admission.
