Gettins, Goodman, Davis lead softball All-America selections

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (June 7, 2017) - The NJCAA released its Division I softball All-Americans on Wednesday.

Region 8 had eight players named All-America, including three first-teamers - pitchers Courtney Gettins and Krystal Goodman from Florida SouthWestern State College and Chipola College, respectively, and Seminole State College outfielder Jordan Davis. 

Four players were named second-team All-America, including a pair of Florida SouthWestern teammates, catcher Molly Roark and infielder Marta Fuentes. St. Petersburg College infielder Keeley Mayers and Indian River State College outfielder Michalyn Bingham also made the second-team. 

Seminole State catcher Alyssa Oakes was the lone player from Region 8 named third-team All-America.
