FSCJ's Jessica Delawder named NJCAA DI Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 7, 2015) - Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Jessica Delawder was named NJCAA Division I Softball Player of the Week on Thursday. 

Delawder, a freshman from Farmington, Conn., was named NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA Softball Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Delawder batted .667 (10-for-15) with three runs scored, one double, one triple and seven RBIs in four games during the voting period.

She led the Blue Wave into the second day of play at the NJCAA District/FCSAA State Softball Tournament, where they ended with a 2-2 record.

In her team’s first three games, Delawder went a combined 10-for-11, including a 4-for-4, 4-RBI effort against St. Petersburg.
