Pensacola State's Bevia Robinson named NJCAA DI Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 19, 2015) - Pensacola State College's Bevia Robinson was named NJCAA Division I Softball Player of the Week on Thursday. 

Robinson, a freshman shortstop from Harvest, Ala., was named NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA Softball Player of the Week on Tuesday. 

Robinson batted .643 (9-for-14) with 11 runs scored, one home run, four RBIs and five stolen bases in four games during the voting period.

In a doubleheader sweep of Three Rivers on March 12, she went a combined 4-for-6 with five runs scored and three stolen bases. Two days later, she was 3-for-4, scored four runs, drove in three and homered against NJCAA (DII) No. 20 BlackHawk then went 2-for-4 and scored twice against St. Louis.
