COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 8, 2015) - For the fifth straight week, the College of Central Florida is the No. 1 team in the NJCAA Division I Softball Poll.

The Patriots, 44-4 at the time of poll nomination, are a solid number one, followed by Salt Lake (Utah) Community College, the College of Southern Idaho, Chattanooga State (Tenn.) Community College and Midland (Texas) College to round out the top five. 

Central Florida also leads four teams from Region 8 in the poll. Seminole State College is ranked eighth, followed by No. 9 Indian River State College and No. 11 Chipola College. 

Those same four teams are ranked 1-4, in the same order, in this week's FCSAA Softball Coaches' Poll.
