CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 1, 2021) - Tallahassee Community College's Leo Rutledge was named the NJCAA Male Runner of the Week on Wednesday.

Rutledge, a native of Tallahassee, Fla., made his collegiate debut at the August 28 TCC XC Open, which also served as his first-ever 8K event. All he did was finish as the top collegiate runner and placed second overall with a time of 28:52.61.  

Rutledge and his teammates scored a head-to-head win over the University of Florida's running club in the team standings.  

Rutledge was named NJCAA Region 8 Runner of the Week on Tuesday.
