CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 10, 2020) - Daytona State College's Andy Martinez was named NJCAA Division II Runner of the Week on Wednesday.

Martinez, a sophomore from Melbourne, Fla., earned the honor following a first-place finish at the season-opening Florida Horse Park Invitational in Ocala, Fla., on September 4. 

There, Martinez posted a 5K time of 16:00.31 to help the Falcons to a win in the team standings.
