EFSC men's tennis team improves to 2-0

The Eastern Florida State College men's tennis team blanked Southeastern University Tuesday at Titan Tennis Center.

The Titans improved to 2-0 on the season with the win.

Dario Kmet and Ramiro Rincon teamed up to pick up the win in No. 1 doubles 6-4, whie Mikar Fisher and Sergio Gomez won 7-5 at No. 2 doubles and the duo of Tomas Reche and Luc Pasqual Camps won the third doubles 7-5.

In singles action, Reche, Kmet, Fisher won the top three singles matches in straight sets. Rincon had the match of the day, winning to first set 6-4 before falling 6-1 in the second set to Tyler Glowaki. But Rincon bounced back to take the third 10-6.

Gomez and Pasqual Camps also won singles matches in straight sets.

The men's tennis team will travel to Keiser University to play the JV team Monday at 1 p.m.
