CHARLOTTE, N.C. (January 11, 2023) - Eastern Florida State College's Andres Burney has been named the Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week by the NJCAA.

Burney, a sophomore forward from Brundidge, Ala., recorded a double-double in his lone game of the week. 

In the Titans' 81-76 win over Polk State College, Burney posted 30-points and 16-rebounds, along with two assists, two steals and two blocks.

He shot 73.3 percent (11-of-15) from the field and 66.7 percent (8-of-12) from the free throw line.

Burney was named NJCAA Region 8 Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
