CHARLOTTE, N.C. (April 12, 2023) - The College of Central Florida's Juan Correa was named NJCAA Division I Baseball Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Correa, a sophomore first baseman from Weston, Fla., batted .500 (9-for-18) with eight runs scored, two doubles, six home runs and nine RBI in four games last week.

He homered in all four of the Patriots' games, including each game of a three-game set vs. Seminole State College.

Correa hit two home runs in each of the last two games vs. Seminole State and was 3-for-5 (three RBI) in game two and 2-for-5 (four RBI) in game three.

Correa was named Region 8 DI Player of the Week on Tuesday.
