LAKELAND, Fla. (May 11, 2023) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) is pleased to announce its 2023 Division I All-FCSAA/All-NJCAA Region 8 baseball team.

The 17-member Division I All-FCSAA team, which includes the Fireman of the Year and also recognizes the Player and Pitcher of the Year, was voted on by the FCSAA's Division I Baseball Committee.  

In addition to the All-FCSAA vote, the committed selected a Gold Glove Team and Defensive Player of the Year.

FCSAA Division I Player of the Year
Kevin Karstetter, State College of Florida

Previously voted the Suncoast Conference Player of the Year...has a .421 batting average...12 home runs...leads Region 8 with 76 RBI...16 stolen bases.

FCSAA Division I Pitcher of the Year

Previously voted the Suncoast Conference Pitcher of the Year...11-2 record on the year and 3.33 ERA...second in Region 8 with 104 strikeouts in 78.1 innings pitched.
