CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 3, 2023) - Pensacola State College's Josiah Glodfelter was named NJCAA Division I Baseball Pitcher of the Week on Wednesday.

Glodfelter, a freshman right-hander from Pensacola, Fla., went 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA in two appearances last week. He picked up a pair of complete-game victories against Tallahassee Community College, helping the Pirates overtake the Eagles for the final berth to the FCSAA Tournament. 

In a five-inning, 10-0 win on April 25, he allowed only four hits and one walk, with seven strikeouts. Five days later, in the penultimate game of the season, Glodfelter struck out 14, with no walks, in a seven-inning, 10-0 victory.

In 12 total innings, he allowed only nine hits and two runs while walking just one and striking out 21. 

Glodfelter was named Region 8 DI Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday.
