CHARLOTTE, N.C. (April 21, 2021) - Northwest Florida State College's Dylan DeLucia was named NJCAA Division I Baseball Pitcher of the Week on Wednesday.
DeLucia, a freshman right-hander from Port Orange, Fla., was 2-0 with a 0.59 ERA in three appearances.
He allowed just one run in 5.1 innings, earning the win vs. Pensacola State. Later in the week, he ptched a six-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts and no walks vs. Chipola.
For the week, DeLucia totaled 15.1 innings, allowing 14 hits and one run (earned) with only one walk and 21 strikeouts.
He was named NJCAA Region 8 Baseball Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday.
