Little, Pearson led Region 8 haul of MLB draftees

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (June 16, 2017) - State College of Florida pitcher Brendon Little and fellow hurler Nate Pearson from the College of Central Florida were first round selections in the 2017 MLB Draft.

But Little and Pearson were just the beginning of an impressive list of draftees from Region 8. In all 39 players from Region 8 were selected, led by Chipola College, who had 10 players drafted, second-most of any college in the country at any level.
