COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 11, 2016) - Santa Fe College will carry the nation's number one ranking into the 2016 NJCAA Gulf District/FCSAA State Baseball Tournament.

The Saints firmly secured their spot at the top in this week's NJCAA Murucci Sports Division I Baseball Poll, receiving seven of the ten first place votes. 

Santa Fe is the first team from Region 8 to enter the postseason with the nation's number one ranking since Tallahassee Community College in 2013.

Joining the Saints in this week's national poll are No. 9 St. Johns River State College, No. 16 Polk State College and No. 19 Chipola College. Broward College received votes. 

In the NJCAA Murruci Sports Division II Baseball Poll, Pasco-Hernando State College earned a No. 12 ranking for the second straight week.

The Conquistadors are in Burlington, N.C., for the NJCAA DII Southeast District Tournament.
