CF Baseball run-rules FSCJ 10-0, sweeps series

OCALA- The College of Central Florida baseball team put an exclamation point on its three-game sweep of FSC-Jacksonville.

The Patriots (19-12, 5-3) scored in six of their at-bats and pounded out 18 hits in a 10-0 mercy-rule win over the Blue Wave on Wednesday afternoon at Goodlett Field.

Andrew Frazier went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and had one of CF's four doubles and five extra-base hits.

CF scored twice in the first and three times in the second, as it had three innings of multiple runs.

Ryan Crile (1-for-3, run scored), Dalton Mauldin (2-for-2, RBI, double), Christian Khawam (3-for-4, two runs scored, double, two RBI), Justin Ambrosino (3-for-4, two runs scored, RBI, double), Colby Brown (1-for-3, two RBI) and Malik Tatis (3-for-4, three RBI, triple) backed Frazier in the rout.

On the mound, David Lebron pitched six shutout innings for CF. He allowed five hits and one walk, to go along with seven strikeouts.

The Patriots return to action on Friday with a home game against Southeastern University's JV, before they visit Seminole State on Saturday at 1 p.m.
