COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (January 13, 2016) - All three top ten teams from Region 8 moved up in this week's NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Poll. 

With top-ranked Salt Lake (Utah) Community College falling from the ranks of the unbeaten, Gulf Coast State College moved up one spot to No. 2, trailing only Trinity Valley (Texas) Community College. 

Daytona State College was the biggest riser inside the top ten, climbing two spots to No. 3 while Chipola College was up one spot to No. 6. Northwest Florida State dropped one spot to No. 12.

In the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Poll, four teams are again ranked among the nation's best. 

Leading the way is No. 6 Palm Beach State College. The Panthers, who dropped from the top spot in this wee's NJCAA Region 8 Coaches' Poll, also received one first-place vote. They are just head of No. 8 Northwest Florida State. 

Daytona State College is ranked 15th while Eastern Florida State College is 21st. 

Tallahassee Community College, despite seven losses on the season, received votes.
