TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 23, 2016) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Polls for February 23 and Player of the Week selections for the week ending February 21.
This is the final poll of the 2015-16 season.

- Averaged 20.8 points, 18.0 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in four games during the voting period
- Shot 63.2 percent (36-of-57) from the and 68.8 percent (11-of-16) from the free throw line
- Helped the Seahawks to three wins in four games, including two in the Southern Conference tournament, where they defeated ASA (Miami) and Indian River State
- Recorded a double-double in each game, including 19 points and 23 rebounds vs. Palm Beach State; also had 14 and 18 and 28 and 16 in consecutive games vs. ASA; ended the week with 22 points and 15 rebounds vs. Indian River State

- Shot 46.0 percent (23-of-50) from the field, 35.7 percent (5-of-14) from the three-point line and 66.7 percent (24-of-36) from the free throw line
- Led Miami Dade to a season-ending three-game winning streak
- Recorded three straight double-doubles – 25 points, 10 rebounds vs. Indian River State; 18 points, 12 rebounds vs. Palm Beach State; and 32 points, 10 assists vs. St. Petersburg
