COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (October 15, 2014) - Region 8 continued to be well-represented in the NJCAA's Division I and Division II volleyball polls.

In the Division I rankings, No. 6 Miami Dade College and No. 7 College of Central Florida lead a quartet of Region 8 teams in the poll.

State College of Florida checked in at No. 15 followed by No. 16 Santa Fe College.

Those same four teams occupy the top four spots, in the same order, in this week's FCSAA Volleyball Coaches' Poll.

Meanwhile, Pasco-Hernando State, the lone Region II program in Region 8, continued to roll and held on to the No. 4 ranking, despite an upset in the top three.

Previous No. 1 Kirkwood (Iowa) Community College was unseated from the top spot in the poll and fell to No. 5, however it was last week's No. 3, Parkland (Ill.) College, who landed atop the rankings. Central Community College-Columbus (Neb.) moved from No. 6 to No. 3.

The Quistas have won nine straight matches heading into this weekend's play at Faulkner State (Ala.) Community College.
