FCSAA student-athletes, teams receive NJCAA all-academic honors

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (June 25, 2015) – The following student-athletes from Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) member schools received academic honors from the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), based on their work during the 2014-15 academic year. 

The NJCAA recognizes the following: 

  • NJCAA Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence (4.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale)
  • NJCAA Award for Superior Academic Achievement (3.80-3.99 on a 4.00 scale)
  • NJCAA Award for Exemplary Academic Achievement (3.60-3.79 on a 4.00 scale) 

A total of 103 student-athletes from FCSAA member schools were recognized by the NJCAA:

  • Women’s Golf: Daytona State College, 3.71 team GPA 
  • Women's Swimming and Diving: Indian River State College, 3.41 team GPA
