Indian River State vs. Union College results

FT. PIERCE, Fla. (December 12, 2014) - Indian River State College's men's & women's swimming & diving teams swept Union College on Wednesday. 

The River men won 197.5-69.5 while the women were victorious, 215-63.

Coming off a successful showing at the Georgia Tech Invitational, the Indian River State College men’s & women’s swimming & diving teams continued their 2014-15 season with another victory versus Union College taking 27 of the 30 events contested.

The two teams competed against each other in a shorter than usual format with events being the 200 relays, 50’s and 100’s of strokes, the 100 IM, and the 200 and 500 free. Also being contested were the 1m and 3m diving events.

The River teams will now have three weeks off from competition, and will next see action on January 3, when they travel to Florida International University to compete in a one-day multi-team competition starting at 11 a.m.
