Pasco-Hernando State cracks top ten of NJCAA DII poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 23, 2015) - Pasco-Hernando State College made its way back into the top ten of the Marucci NJCAA Division II Baseball Poll on Wednesday. 

The Conquistadors jumped three spots to No. 9. The two teams immediately ahead of Pasco-Hernando State, No. 7 Southeastern Community College and No. 8 Wake Technical Community College, are expected to join the Conquistadors in the Southeast District Tournament in Kinston, N.C.

Meanwhile, in the Marucci NJCAA Division I Baseball Poll, St. Johns River State College again holds down the No. 2 spot. The Vikings trail only top-ranked Cowley County Community College in the poll. 

Panhandle Conference Champion Chipola College is ranked fifth, up two spots from last week. 

Palm Beach State College, who clinched the Southern Conference Championship on Wednesday, is ranked 18th, though it represents a four-spot drop from a week ago. 

Santa Fe College received votes.
