TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has released its weekly coaches' polls and announced its Weekly Awards in basketball.

Region 8 Players of the Week Awards (for games January 8-14)
Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received Player of the Week recognition:
- Region 8 DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Victor Panov, Daytona State
- Region 8 DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Tarence Guinyard, Florida State College at Jacksonville
- Region 8 Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Keri Cooper, Palm Beach State
