TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (March 15, 2022) - The Florida College System Activities Association has released its weekly coaches' polls and Player of the Week selections for baseball and softball.

Region 8 Player of the Week Awards (for games March 7-13)

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received Player of the Week recognition:

• Region 8 Baseball Player of the Week: Caleb Cali, Central Florida
• Region 8 Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Magnus Ellerts, Florida SouthWestern
• Region 8 Softball Player of the Week: Janelle Martinez, Chipola
• Region 8 Softball Pitcher of the Week: GraceAnne Spears, Gulf Coast State 

All Player of the Week honorees will be considered for NJCAA Player of the Week honors, which will be announced Wednesday.
