TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 8, 2022) - The Florida College System Activities Association has released its weekly coaches' polls and Player of the Week selections for men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball.

• Region 8 Baseball Coaches' Poll
• Region 8 Softball Coaches' Poll

Region 8 Player of the Week Awards (for basketball games January 31-February 6, and all baseball/softball games through February 6)

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received Player of the Week recognition:

• Region 8 Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Bradley Douglas, Santa Fe
• Region 8 Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Rapuluchi Ngorka, Eastern Florida State
• Region 8 Baseball Player of the Week: Ronny Medina, Florida SouthWestern
• Region 8 Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Grant Besser, Florida SouthWestern
• Region 8 Softball Player of the Week: Georgia Hood, Pensacola State
• Region 8 Softball Pitcher of the Week: Avery Beauchaine, Pensacola State

All Player of the Week honorees will be considered for NJCAA Player of the Week honors, which will be announced Wednesday.
