NJCAA Region 8 Basketball Notebook: February 25

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 25, 2020) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Men's and Women's Basketball Coaches' Polls for February 24 and Player of the Week selections for games played February 17-23.

The next coaches' poll will be released March 2 and next Player of the Week selections, March 3.

  • Averaged 25.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 block in two games during the voting period
  • Shot 46.2 percent (18-of-39) from the field, 42.9 percent (6-of-14) from three and 80.0 percent (8-of-10) from the free throw line
  • Led Daytona State to a pair of Mid-Florida Conference wins, including one at nationally-ranked Central Florida
  • 23 points, 9 rebounds vs. Florida State College-Jacksonville; 27 points, 8 rebounds vs. Central Florida
