NJCAA Region 8 Baseball/Softball Notebook: March 26

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (March 26, 2019) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Baseball and Softball Coaches’ Polls for March 26 and Player and Pitcher of the Week selections for games played March 18-24. 

The next poll and player of the week selections will be released April 2.

  • Led Seminole State to a three-game sweep of MFC rival Florida State College at Jacksonville
  • Had back-to-back four-hit games to start the series; was officially 0-for-1 in game three but walked twice

  • Hit safely in each game, leading the Raiders to a 4-0 week
  • Homered in her first three games; was a combined 5-for-9 with three doubles, a home run and eight RBIs in doubleheader vs. Daytona State

  • Totaled 16 innings in the circle and allowed seven hits, two runs and five walks with 20 strikeouts
