NJCAA Region 8 Baseball/Softball Notebook: March 27

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (March 27, 2018) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Baseball and Softball Coaches’ Polls for March 27 and Player and Pitcher of the Week selections for games played March 19-25. 

The next poll and player of the week selections will be released April 3.

  • Three straight multi-hit games to end the week, all against St. Petersburg, and included a five-RBI game and six-RBI game

  • Walked two and struck out eight

  • Was 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in game two win vs. nationally-ranked Indian River State

  • Three complete-game victories in Panhandle Conference play, including a 14-strikeout effort No. 4 Gulf Coast State
  • For the week, she totaled 19 innings in the circle, allowing eight hits, one run and one walk while striking out 28
