TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (January 16, 2018) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Men's and Women's Basketball Coaches' Polls for January 16 and Player of the Week selections for games played January 8-14.
The next poll and player of the week selections will be released January 23.

- Averaged 22.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.5 blocks in two games during the voting period
- Shot 58.3 percent (14-of-24) from the floor, 60.0 percent (3-of-5) from the three-point line and 86.7 percent (13-of-15) from the free throw line.
- Helped Florida SouthWestern open Suncoast Conference play with wins over Hillsborough and St. Petersburg
- After posting 17 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks against Hillsborough, he had a double-double (27 points, 10 rebounds) against St. Petersburg

- Averaged 19.0 points, 15.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.7 blocks in three games during the voting period
- Shot 60.5 percent (23-of-38) from the floor and 73.3 percent (11-of-15) from the free throw line
- Led Miami Dade to two wins in three games, posting a pair of double-doubles
- Had 19 points and 12 rebounds in a loss to nationally-ranked Florida SouthWestern; 22 points and 27 rebounds vs. Indian River State; finished with 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting in a 86-57 win over Palm Beach State
