TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (January 24, 2017) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Polls for January 24 and Player of the Week selections for games played January 16-22.
The next poll and player of the week selections will be released January 31.

- Led Daytona State to a pair of wins, running the Falcons’ win streak to 13 games
- Posted back-to-back double-doubles against TAAG Academy and Mid-Florida rival Florida State College at Jacksonville, the latter a 12-point, 16-rebound effort in the Falcons’ 80-66 win

- Shot 58.3 percent (14-of-24) from the floor, 45.5 percent (5-of-11) from the three-point line and 91.7 percent (11-of-12) from the free throw line
- Led Miami Dade to a 2-0 week with Southern Conference victories over Eastern Florida State and ASA Miami
- Posted 21 points, five rebounds, nine assists and five steals in the Sharks’ 86-64 win over Eastern Florida State and narrowly missed a quadruple double in the 94-34 win over ASA with 23 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and nine steals (also had six blocks)
