TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (January 17, 2017) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Polls for January 17 and Player of the Week selections for games played January 9-15.
The next poll and player of the week selections will be released January 24.

- Averaged 20.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.5 blocks in two games during the voting period
- All but two of his field goals came from long distance, where he shot 45.5 percent (10-of-22) and was also 6-of-7 (85.7 percent) at the free throw line
- Led Indian River State to a 2-0 week including a 77-71 win over NJCAA No. 7 Eastern Florida State, in which he hit six three-pointers and scored 22 points
- Posted 18 points, five rebounds and five assists in his team’s one-point victory over Broward

- Averaged 30.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.5 blocks in two games during the voting period
- Shot 61.9 percent (26-of-42) from the floor, hit 2-of-3 three-pointers (66.7 percent) and 7-of-8 free throws (87.5 percent)
- Fueled Tallahassee’s 89-78 upset of defending national champion and top-ranked Gulf Coast State with 29 points on 13-of-19 shooting, five rebounds and five assists
- Despite her team falling 91-86 to No. 3 Chipola, she had 32 points, five rebounds and two assists
