Titans re-enter top ten of men's national rankings

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (December 13, 2016) - Eastern Florida State College re-entered the top ten of the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Poll, released on Tuesday.

The Titans, who took over the No. 1 spot in this week's Region 8 Men's Basketball Coaches' Poll, jumped four spots to No. 8 and is the highest-ranked team from the region in this week's national rankings. 

Tallahassee Community College, whose three week run at No. 1 in the Region 8 poll ended this week, fell from No. 6 to No. 10 in the NJCAA poll. 

Chipola College is ranked 16th and Palm Beach State College, 17th.

The College of Central Florida received votes.  

Gulf Coast State College retained the No. 1 spot in the NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Poll.

Chipola is No. 3; Tallahassee, No. 11; Northwest Florida State College, No. 14; Pensacola State College, No. 17; and Palm Beach State, No. 19.
