Indian River State swimming and diving sweeps Union College

FT. PIERCE, Fla. (December 9, 2016) - The Indian River State College swimming and diving teams continued their home schedule on Wednesday with a sweep against Union College. 

Indian River State won the women's meet, 208-70, and picked up a 213-59 win in men's action.

Individual wins for the women came from Osianna McReed (50, 100 fly, and 100 free), Malin Wallen (50, 200 free), Courtney Stewart (50, 100 back), Courtney Perret (50, 100 breast), Adrianna Warning (1m, 3m diving), Ianthe Van Der Westhuizen (500 free), and Natalie Grothe (100 IM).

The men's individual wins came from Jason Van Der Touw (50 back, 100 free), Nick Loomis (50, 100 fly), Gabriele Sasia (100 back, 100 IM), Cameron Newton (50, 500 free), Guillaume Bolivard (200 free), Andrew Wojcik (50 breast), Joel Hanson (100 breast), and Robby Costine (3m diving).

Both the men's and women's teams also won the 200 medley and 200 free relays.

Up next for The River will be the Spartan Invite hosted by the University of Tampa, December 16-19 in Clearwater, Fla.
